Paul Roberts to take over from interim chair Larry Gold
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) has appointed Paul Roberts as its permanent chair of the board.

Roberts joined the board in January 2023 and has chaired RBH’s audit and risk committee.
He currently works as an independent consultant supporting housing associations and charities to develop their approach to environmental, social and governance housing strategy and internal controls.
Roberts will be taking over from interim chair Larry Gold, who was made chief executive of housing and communities at Places for People earlier this year.
Roberts was a former executive director at The Guinness Partnership and currently serves as the chair of subcommittees at contractor Mears Housing Management and registered provider Auxesia Homes.
RBH has also appointed Madeleine Nelson as its new senior independent director to provide support and challenge to the chair and board after joining in 2023.She is currently chief operating officer at Citizen Housing.
RBH manages more than 12,000 homes across the Rochdale area.
