Leann Hearne succeeds Ingrid Fife
Yorkshire Housing has appointed Leann Hearne as its new chair, succeeding Ingrid Fife after five years in the role.

Hearne has served on the board of Yorkshire Housing for the past five years. She previously served as chief executive of 13,000-home Livv Housing Group and is currently a board member of the Northern Housing Consortium and at Notting Hill Genesis.
Yorkshire Housing manages nearly 20,000 homes and has C1, G1 and V2 regulatory gradings for consumer standards, governance and viability.
It plans to invest nearly £1bn for affordable housing delivery over the next decade.
Hearne said: ”Yorkshire Housing holds a special place for me. After five years on the board and three years leading the homes and places committee, I’ve seen first-hand the difference this organisation makes to people’s lives, and how its aspiration drives it to be even better.”
Hearne’s news follows the appointment of two new board members, David Manser and David Done, as well as Yorkshire Housing’s first board trainee Anees Iqbal.
Manser joined with a background in customer-focused retail and serves on the board of Gloucester City Homes, while Done spent 23 years as chief executive of Richmond Housing Partnership.
Iqbal is participating in the Housing Diversity Network Board Trainee Programme.
