Matt Wilson has been promoted by the major housebuilder
The Hill Group has promoted Matt Wilson to group technical director from his previous role as technical manager for the eastern region.
Wilson will now oversee design and technical compliance at the housebuilder, which reported a £1.2bn turnover in the year to March 2025. This involves achieving compliance with the new Future Homes Standard expected to be published later this year.
He will also support Hill’s land acquisition strategy and the delivery of its five-year business plan, which the firm said focuses on growth through mixed-tenure housing and partnership-led development.
Wilson joined the company in 2008 as a technical co-ordinator. Prior to this he spent 13 years at David Wilson Homes, starting as a trainee and continuing through the company’s acquisition by Barratt Developments in 2007.
The Hill Group operates across London, the home counties and the South. It completed more than 2,800 homes in the last financial year.
