Application is second phase of scheme which could deliver more than 1,000 homes
Persimmon has submitted plans for 562 new homes near Bristol.
The housebuilding giant’s Severn Valley business has put forward three reserved matters applications for the second phase of its Fishpool Hill development.
The scheme, which lies on a site in Cribbs Causeway, comprises a mix of one- and two-bed apartments, and two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.
If approved, the homes would be sold under the Persimmon brand and that of its sister company, Charles Church, with 140 reserved for a local housing association.
A proportion of these will be extended care units, which will be wheelchair accessible.
All homes will have solar panels and electric vehicle charging points.
Persimmon said the scheme would result in more than £10.1m in financial contributions for local community infrastructure.
So far, 239 homes have been built at Fishpool Hill. Persimmon intends ultimately to deliver a total of 1,100 homes across the site.
