Persimmon Homes North Midlands has recruited Richard Flamson from Vistry to be its construction director.

Flamson spent a year as construction director at Vistry South West Midlands, following three years as construction director at Barratt Homes.

Prior to that he spent seven years in the same role at David Wilson Homes, now part of Barratt Redrow, which formed from a merger in 2024.

Flamson left his role at Vistry at the start of July, following news that the troubled housebuilder invited its 4,500 members of staff to apply for a “voluntary exit” from the company in June.

Persimmon reported a total group revenue of £3.75bn in its full year results for 2025.
