Weekly site sales up 7% so far in 2021, listed housebuilder reveals

Top-three UK housebuilder Persimmon saw its profit fall by just 25% in 2020 despite the impact of the coronavirus crisis, endorsing its decision not to furlough staff during the spring lockdown.

Persimmon today reported a pre-tax profit of £784m for the calendar year 2020. Revenue was £3.3bn, a drop of just 9%.
