But G15 housing association says delays won’t affect full-year development performance

Clarion earlier this year received approval from the London Borough of Bromley for its plans to deliver 228 new social rent homes at the Blenheim Centre in Penge.

 

 

The £1bn-turnover housing association, in a trading update, said it completed 150 homes in the three months to 30 June, down on the 280 reported for the previous year.

The group said the lower figure was reflective of “several modest delays” on some of its sites, meaning completions will be pushed back to later in 2026/27. It said however this is not expected to affect its full year figures. The group has previously said it is targeting 1,676 completions in the full year, with an aim to increase delivery to 3,000 units within the next three to four years.

It said its development pipeline has increased by 452 units to 23,337 since the end of March.

Clarion also said its first year turnover has risen slightly from £260.5m to £261.8m, while its operating surplus rose by 21% from £85.5m to £103.6m.

The association said its customer satisfaction in the quarter rose year-on-year from 84.9% to 86.1%, while its repairs satisfaction also increased slightly from 91.3% to 91.7%.
