Amanda Metcalfe and Justin Brown join the non-executive team

Hyde Group has appointed Amanda Metcalfe and Justin Brown to its board.

Metcalfe has taken over from Karen McElhatton as chair of the group housing services committee, while Brown has joined the board, having been a member of Hyde’s group investment committee since 2023.

Metcalfe was previously marketing director at developer Canary Wharf Group and a non-executive director at Clarion Housing Group. She is also a trustee of the Army development fund.

Brown’s most recent executive role was as head of Europe real sstate for BlackRock, where he was previously portfolio manager of the BlackRock UK Property Fund. He has also worked at UBS and LaSalle Investment Management.

Hyde Group manages around 125,000 homes primarily in London and the South East of England.
