First Choice Housing Association chief executive Jason Wroe takes over from Jonathan Morris
The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Cymru has appointed Jason Wroe, interim chief executive at First Choice Housing Association (FCHA), as its new board chair.
Wroe has worked in Welsh housing for more than 30 years and was previously boss at Cadarn Housing Group before taking the top spot at FCHA this May.
He has been a member of the CIH since 1992 becoming a CIH Fellow in 2003. He has sat on the CIH Cymru board since 2020.
“I’m keen to get out and meet local authority CEOs, housing directors, health board leaders and RSL chief executives across Wales to listen, learn and understand the issues affecting their organisations and their teams. Those conversations will help CIH Cymru focus its support where it’s needed most and strengthen the sector’s collective voice,” said Wroe.
He has replaced Jonathan Morris, who spent six years in the role.
