Medway council looking for developer for £150m housing scheme

The council said a quarter of the homes will be designated affordable in line with its housing policy

Medway council is seeking a development partner to deliver hundreds of new homes on the site of a former civic centre on the banks of the River Medway in Kent.

The local authority is looking to potentially build more than 550 homes – a mix of flats and houses – on the 3ha site (pictured), as part of a masterplan for the Strood Waterfront area.
