Newcastle-based social landlord also looking to hire a board member and trainee
Karbon Group is looking to recruit a new chair.

Current chair Alexis Cleveland will be stepping down as chair of the 33,000-home landlord in September after serving a six-year term on the board, including just over a year as chair following the retirement of David Bell.
The Newcastle-upon-Tyne- based provider is now seeking to recruit a new chair. It is also looking to recruit a board member to succeed Hanif Malik, who has also completed his term and also wants to hire a board trainee.
A spokesperson said: “Karbon is particularly interested in candidates with experience in community engagement and investment, place‑making and regeneration, or with current or recent lived experience of social housing.”
Karbon which reported a turnover of £219m in 2024/25, completed more than 700 homes last year.
