Change comes after wider shake-up of senior leadership team
EMH Group has announced the appointment of a new chair.
Danielle Oum will take the role from tomorrow (1 April), following the planned departure of the current chair, David Russell.

Oum began her career in publishing before going on to work at the Department for Work and Pensions, the Learning and Skills Council and TCV.
She subsequently gained experience in the housing and care fields, holding roles as chair of the NHS Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull Integrated Care Board (ICB) cluster, chair of NHS Coventry and Warwickshire ICB and of WHG.
She also holds board member positions in Fusion21 Ltd and Waythrough.
“I am delighted to take on the role of chair of EMH at a time of significant demand for housing across the East Midlands, a region of stark socio-economic disparities,” she said.
“I look forward to working with EMH to maximise its resident-centred, values-driven approach, providing good quality, well maintained homes across a range of tenures as well as much needed care and support services.”
The news follows the announcement of a wider shake-up of the 21,000-home provider’s top team under new chief executive Charley Gibbons.
Chris Jones was promoted to executive director of housing and development with overall strategic responsibility for the Leicestershire-based landlord.
Jones, who was previously chief operating officer and before that director of development, is also the new deputy chief executive.
Ian Davies, currently group director of property, will take up the newly created role of executive director of quality homes, while Jo Tilley’s job title will change from executive director of corporate services to executive director of people and strategy.
