Julia Mixter has been appointed as the executive director of business services at Anchor, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of older people’s housing and care.

She will replace Kate Smith, who has left Anchor after 5 years, to take up the role of chief executive at Shropshire and Herefordshire-based housing association, Connexus.

Mixter has served as the director of transformation at Raven Housing Trust for over five years and will commence her role at Anchor on 13 May.
