Housing Today’s first ever Good Employer Guide opens for entries

Housing Today is inviting housing associations across the UK to take part in its first ever Good Employer Guide for the sector.

The guide, to be published in early 2026, will be a directory of employers, showcasing the great work providers are doing and sharing learning for the sector from initiatives across a wide range of areas.

To enter the guide, housing associations need to share information about their organisation by completing a survey. They will be asked to answer questions around topics including skills and staff development, benefits, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing.

Organisations entering can also provide supporting documents outlining more information about specific initiatives they have been involved in.

Chloe McCulloch, editorial director of Housing Today, said: “The operating environment remains difficult but we know at Housing Today that many housing associations are good employers.

“Our Good Employer Guide is a great opportunity for organisations to highlight the great work they are doing while also sharing learning for the wider sector.”

The findings from the guide will be discussed at Housing Today’s Good Employer Conference in London in March, which will also feature panel sessions, keynote speakers and networking. All the good employers will be invited to the event as VIP guests.

Housing Today will continue sharing learning and insight on good employment initiatives throughout next year via a series of quarterly themed reports. These will be on skills and training, diversity & inclusion, health & wellbeing and culture & innovation.
