Telford Homes has appointed Lesley Chen Davison as its chief operating officer

Telford Homes has appointed a former director of Delancey Lesley Chen Davison to be its new chief operating officer.

Chen Davison, who has wide experience in the build-to-rent sector, will join the London-focused housebuilder’s executive committee and head up the execution of the firm’s business strategy, investment and development management. She will look to focus on digital innovation and will report to Telford’s chief executive Anne Kavanagh, who was appointed in June last year.

Kavanagh said: “[Chen Davison’s] track record in growth, transformation and mergers and acquisitions [M&A] environments with expertise in strategy, corporate finance and capital markets will be essential as we define and execute our business strategy. [Her] innovation, creativity and history of collaboration make her an ideal leader for Telford Homes.”

During her time as director of banking and treasury at consultancy Delancey for nearly 15 years to 2019, Chen Davison worked on build-to-rent projects, such as East Village and Elephant Central.

She also has experience in debt, equity release and lifetime mortgage products.

Chen Davison was recently head of commercial strategy for GoSpace AI Limited, a business that allocates office workspace to teams, where she oversaw strategic client and operational initiatives as well as investor and partner relationships. She was at Deutsche Bank for five years until 2002, where she started her real estate career, spending time in both the New York and London offices.

Telford Homes, which was named ‘most sustainable builder’ in a report last year, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CBRE Group.
