Housebuilder warns Gove’s planning policy overhaul will lead to shortfall in sites

Taylor Wimpey is planning to make £20m of efficiency savings a year in response to market conditions.

The £4bn-turnover housebuilder, ranked second biggest in Housing Today’s Top 50 Housebuilders list, today announced it has started a consultation on unspecified “changes” to cut costs by £20m.
