South London resi towers given council nod

Two schemes will include close to 500 homes on the historic Old Kent Road

Architect Maccreanor Lavington has been given the OK by Southwark council for a brace of schemes totalling nearly 500 homes around the Old Kent Road in south London.

A 39-storey brick-clad residential tower is the centrepiece of a three buildings scheme that will include a total of 372 homes, retail, workspace and café. It will also include roof gardens on the lower levels.
