The housing association marked the end of its 2025/26 financial year by announcing its strongest development performance in more than five years.

The figure is 34% higher than the 1,028 recorded in the previous year and is the largest number of homes delivered by the group in a year since 2020.

Of the homes delivered, 779 of these were grant funded by Homes England. They include a range of tenures, including social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership and rent-to-buy.

The 51,000-home landlord also started on site with 1,556 homes in the same period and will begin work on approximately 1,600 in the new financial year.

“Completing 1,380 homes in a single year is a fantastic achievement for Platform and one that everyone involved should be incredibly proud of,” said Paula Heatley, Director of Development Delivery and Sales at Platform Housing Group said:

Platform’s full audited financial statements for 2025/26 will be published later in the year.

The provider last year placed 21st in Housing Today’s Largest 50 Housing Associations list, which ranks providers by turnover.
