Webber has played a key role in Cala’s growth in the region, according to the firm, including its recent expansion into Dorset for the first time.

Cala is targeting delivery of 2,300 new homes across the region by 2026.

Speaking about his promotion, Webber said: “The Thames business has an ambitious growth plan, and I am delighted to be entrusted to deliver on it.

“The strength of our sales rate in 2023 has enabled us to exchange or complete on 7 new sites with the potential to deliver up to 1,100 homes, including prime residential land on Ascot High Street and our first acquisition in Wimborne, Dorset.

“Our team is keen to build on this success and are actively looking for similar high quality investment opportunities in Hampshire, Wiltshire, West Surrey, Berkshire and Dorset.”

Last year, the Thames business secured planning for around 1,500 homes across sites in Weybridge, Crowthorne, Basingstoke, Ashford, Burridge, and Finchampstead.
