Gentoo has appointed a former Home Group executive to its newly-created role of executive director of people, culture and engagement.

The 30,000-home Sunderland-based housing association has appointed Susan Fulton to the role. Fulton, who has over 15 years of experience in the sector, will help shape human resources, customer service, marketing, brand, and communications strategies.

She was previously director of people and corporate services at fellow north-east headquartered provider for over 15 years.
