MSV will deliver 212 homes, including units for later living and rent-to-buy
Plans submitted by housing association MSV to develop 212 homes on the former Reno Nightclub site in Manchester have been approved.

The scheme, created in partnership with Manchester City Council, will deliver 100 homes for social rent, 28 for older person social rent and 84 rent-to-buy units for those “most in need” through a local lettings plan.
Located on Princess Road in Moss Side, the buildings will range between three and 10 storeys in height and include a mix of one to five-bedroom homes.
MSV said the development will offer Moss Side residents the chance to downsize into a new property to free up larger homes in the area.
Charlie Norman, chief executive of MSV Housing Group, said: “I think the extended and thorough consultation we did with local people has paid off, and we have brought together a carefully considered and well-designed scheme incorporating features such as roof gardens.”
The project has been designed by architect MCAU, with Caddick Construction appointed as contractor.
MSV manages almost 9,000 homes across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.
