Purchase of Correct Contract Services meant to strengthen energy capabilities and expand regional presence in south and central England
Housing maintenance specialist contractor Cardo has bought an energy services specialist to expand its presence across south and central England.
Andover-based Correct Contract Services (CCS) was founded by former gas engineers in 2007 and works with local authorities and social landlords across the UK to ensure homes are safe and efficient.

Currently its 280-person team supports more than 50,000 properties with electrical, heating and retrofit services and in the year to 31 March 2025 it reported turnover of £29m and a pre-tax profit of £1.5m.
The takeover is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Cardo. Its purchase of Scottish business Trident Maintenance Services in February came after it picked up parts of collapsed firm Breyer Group in 2025 and Osborne’s property services business in 2023.
Cardo said this latest acquisition would strengthen its compliance and energy services capabilities while expanding its presence across south and central England.
“CCS has built an excellent reputation for technical expertise, strong customer relationships and commitment to quality,” said Cardo chief executive Liam Bevan. “We’re delighted to welcome the entire CCS team into the Cardo Group.”
“It’s an important milestone as we expand our footprint across the south of England and continue to deliver safer and more energy-efficient homes for communities.”
CCS co-founder and managing director Danny Gladwyn said it was an “exciting new chapter” which “reflects the hard work, commitment and contribution of the entire CCS team”.
He also paid tribute to the “vision and commitment” of his fellow co-founder Trevor Dempsey, who died earlier this month.
“His legacy will live on through the values and strong foundations he helped build, and we will continue to carry that forward,” he said.
Bevan added: “Though this acquisition comes after his passing, the values and standards Trevor helped establish are exactly what made CCS the right fit for Cardo”.
In its last set of results for the year to February 2025, Cardo improved turnover 73% to £145m and saw pre-tax profit climb from £1.2m to just over £5m.
