Developer in talks with buyers because of cash-strapped Croydon’s money woes

Croydon council has effectively gone bust after issuing a section 114 notice banning all new expenditure in the borough.

The move further raises possibility that it will be forced to cash in and sell its Brick By Brick development company to raise funds.
