Draft consultation published for regeneration of Perry Barr area post-Commonwealth games

Birmingham City Council has launched a consultation on a regeneration masterplan in the north of the city, which aims to deliver 5,000 new homes.

The council’s Perry Barr 2040 project seeks to build on the legacy of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will take place in part at a revamped Alexander Stadium in Perry Barr.
