Optivo to deliver 250 homes on 3,750-home Green Quarter regen scheme in Ealing

Berkeley Group has picked Optivo as its partner to deliver 249 affordable homes on its 3,750-home Green Quarter regeneration scheme in Ealing, west London.

The properties form the affordable portion of the 645-home third phase of the regeneration scheme, for which 30% of the houses overall will be made available under affordable tenures.

Optivo said 45% of the affordable homes in the phase will be provided for affordable rent, with the rest made available for shared ownership, completing in phases from 2024.

The scheme as a whole is being built over an 88-acre site alongside the Grand Union canal and will include 13 acres of new parkland and wetland and at least 2,500 trees.

Richard White, executive director for development and sales at Optivo, said the scheme was a “fantastic opportunity to build much-needed, quality affordable housing in one of our key areas with a hugely respected delivery partner”. He added: “We can’t wait to create even more homes for Londoners.”
