Ralph Facey has announced plans to retire but will take on new role in the group in the meantime
The chief operating officer at Abri will step down from his current role in the new year as he gets ready for retirement.

Ralph Facey has spent 21 years as a member of the executive team at social landlords Abri and Radian Homes. In 2021, Radian merged with Yarlington Homes to create 55,000-home Abri.
Before retiring, Facey will take on the role of managing director of the Octavia Foundation in 2026. The foundation is the charitable arm of Octavia Housing, which became a subsidiary of the Abri Group in 2024.
A spokesperson from Abri said: “Ralph Facey recently announced that he wants to retire. In the meantime, Ralph has agreed to stay in post until the new year to ensure a smooth transition. This will also ensure that Abri and Octavia can continue to benefit from Ralph’s wealth of expertise and experience before he retires.”
Facey will author the strategy for the Octavia Foundation following its recent integration into the group, which will be launched in the new year.
