Tower Hamlets Council submits plans for 44-home scheme

Project is first in mayoral building programme with target of 3,300 homes

Matthew Lloyd and Tower Hamlets council have submitted plans for the first scheme under a council-led housebuilding programme that eventually aims to deliver 3,300 homes.

The scheme proposes to deliver 44 homes and an “idea store” on a 0.38ha site just north of Bethnal Green Road.
