The social housing rent system should be changed to incentivise social landlords to improve the decarbonisation of homes, speakers at today’s Housing Community Summit in Liverpool have suggested.

In a session on funding the future of social housing, a panel of speakers were asked by an audience member how they would change the rent system if “they had a free hand” .
