The registration of occupied high-rise residential buildings with the Building Safety Regulator over the next six months is going to focus minds on the job to be done.

The term “re-cladding” is just scratching the surface. The works can go a lot deeper – and so does the cultural change required by the Building Safety Act. A new emphasis on organisational and individual competence will lead to a safer industry and safer residents.
