Lou Taylor succeeds Chris Simpson at the West Sussex-based social landlord 

Worthing Homes has appointed Lou Taylor as its new chair of the board.

Taylor succeeds Chris Simpson, who has held the position at the West Sussex-based landlord since September 2022 and served on the board since 2016.

Taylor currently holds several non-executive positions across housing, education, healthcare and policing.

Donne Cezair, chief executive at Worthing Homes, said: “Lou’s energy, passion and experience were evident throughout the selection process, and it is clear that he is committed to making a positive impact for our customers and communities.”

Simpson is the managing director of business consultancy Going Long Consulting. Cezair added that he has “ consistently been a champion for our customers and sustainability-related matters, and always delivered with great insight, enthusiasm and humour”.

Worthing Homes has 4,000 properties in Worthing and surrounding areas.
