West of Scotland Housing Association has appointed a new director of corporate services.
Kerry Clayton will oversee corporate governance of the 4,500-home association.

Her remit will encompass governance and compliance, human resources and organisational development, IT and digital transformation, and risk management.
Clayton most recently served as chief executive of the Tenants Information Service. In her early career she specialised in housing management before pivoting to corporate governance, with five years in the corporate team at Elderpark Housing Association, including three as governance and compliance manager.
She is currently chair of Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Scotland and is an active member of Women in Social Housing (WISH) Scotland.
“I am thrilled to be joining West of Scotland Housing Association as the new Director of Corporate Services,” said Clayton.
“As a high-performing, forward-thinking and innovative organisation, this is a very exciting opportunity for me and the perfect next step in my career.
“I look forward to applying my knowledge and skills to the role to support delivery of the strategic objectives and growth in my key areas of responsibility, whilst working closely and collaboratively with my new colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes for tenants and the local neighbourhoods.”
Clayton will take up the position in the spring, replacing Jennifer Cairns who is set to become chief executive of Govanhill Housing Association.
