The new developments include one at St James Hospital, Portsmouth, Ridgehill in Dudley and a 151-homes scheme in Chesterfield (pictured).

Three projects in Birmingham, Bridgewater and Shafton totalling 210 homes will provide 100% affordable housing.

Vistry has been working with Homes England to agree an approach for these sites to ensure that housing delivery continues despite the impact of Covid-19.

Preparatory work, including the progression of planning applications for the sites, will start immediately by Vistry Partnerships employees who are working from home.

Vistry Partnerships is part of the newly created Vistry Group, which came from Bovis Homes’ deal to buy Galliford Try’s housing and regeneration arms which completed earlier this year.
