L&G Affordable Homes’ Catherine Raynsford to replace Stephen Teagle
Stephen Teagle is leaving his position as Vistry’s chief executive of partnerships, with L&G Affordable Homes’ (LGAH) Catherine Raynsford set to take over at the start of next year.
In a statement issued today, the housebuilder said the move was part of a planned succession process, with Teagle having signalled his intention to retire earlier this year.

Teagle will leave his position as chief executive of partnerships and regeneration at the end of March 2027, after spending the first quarter of the year working with Raynsford to ensure a smooth transition.
Raynsford is currently managing director of major stock acquisitions at LGAH having previously been a director at The Hyde Group.
She will take over as group partnerships director at Vistry on 1 January 2027.
It is the latest big change at the top of Vistry, with Rob Woodward appointed as chair in March and Adam Daniels made group chief executive in April. It follows a difficult period for the £4bn turnover housebuilder, which fell to a £660m loss in its most recent financial figures.
“Having spent 40 years in the sector, across both the not-for-profit and plc sectors, it has been a privilege to have played a part in creating an industry-leading partnerships business,” Teagle (pictured) said.
He joined Galliford Try in 2006 after 20 years in the housing association sector. Bovis Homes acquired parts of that business in 2020 and shortly thereafter rebranded as Vistry.
Paying tribute, Daniels said: “Stephen leaves an outstanding legacy and, on behalf of everyone at Vistry, I would like to thank him for his exceptional contribution and dedicated service. He should be enormously proud of the business he has helped to build.
“I am delighted that Catherine will be joining us to build on these strong foundations as Vistry enters its next stage. She brings significant experience of the affordable housing sector, a deep understanding of our partners and a strong track record in investment and partnerships.”
