Organisations will work together for 241-home phase of Royal Albert Wharf project

Housebuilder Vistry and housing association Notting Hill Genesis have formed a joint venture to build 241 homes at the Greater London Authority’s Royal Albert Wharf scheme in Beckton, east London.

The organisations will build the homes across three apartment blocks ranging up to 11 storeys tall, together named Gallions Place.

The scheme is part of the wider Royal Albert Wharf project, led by Notting Hill Genesis, to build 1,800 homes, designed by architect PRP.

The Gallions Place phase will provide 95 affordable homes alongside 17,000 sq ft of commercial space.

The firm said the JV partnership will start construction work this summer with completion expected in January 2023.
