Scheme designed by HTA Design with affordable homes managed by Hyde Group
Vistry has secured planning approval for a 306-home scheme on surplus NHS land next to a hospital.
The housebuilder was selected by landowner GLA Land and Property as development partner. The scheme will see existing buildings demolished and replaced with a scheme including a series of towers ranging from four to 16 storeys.
The scheme, designed by HTA Design, includes 306 affordable homes, made up of 152 homes for social rent and 154 for shared ownership, including key worker homes for hospital staff. The proposals also include a nursery, NHS offices and a café.
Housing association Hyde Group will own and manage the affordable homes post-completion.
The site was identified as surplus to the hospital’s operational requirements by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
