David Knight to lead non-executive team at 4,000-home Scottish landlord 

Trust Housing Association (Trust), a 4,000-home Scottish landlord, has appointed David Knight as its new chair of the board.

Knight has more than 35 years of senior leadership in the housebuilding sector, including as managing director at Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Homes North London, Bryant Homes, Miller Homes and Avant Homes, as well as being the former chair at membership body Homes for Scotland.

He has served as Trust’s vice-chair and convenor of the audit and performance committee since 2021.

Knight has taken over from Norval Bryson, who stepped down after four years in the role, as Trust “prepares to launch an ambitious new five-year strategy”.

The landlord operates in 23 of the 32 local authority areas in Scotland.
