Finance director David Harris to do top job until April
Trident Group has announced the appointment of David Harris as interim chief executive.
The Birmingham-based provider, which manages around 3,500 homes, has appointed Harris, previously finance director, to the role until April to allow time for a permanent appointment.
Harris succeeds Nigel Wilson, who is retiring after more than 40 years in the social housing sector.
Harris has previously held senior finance roles at Orbit Group and at Affinity Sutton, a predecessor organisation of Clarion.
The provider also confirmed Andrew Fry as its new chair, succeeding Brian Carr who steps down in December.
Harris said: “On behalf of the organisation, we want to pass on our gratitude to Nigel for his leadership and the way he has transformed Trident Group; he leaves us in a strong position.
“This gives us a really good platform to build on in the immediate and long-term future so we can further improve services for our tenants.”
