New senior director credit began this month with two more appointments joining in new year

The Housing Finance Corporation has announced the appointment of three new members of its executive team.

The organisation, which provides long-term finance to housing associations, has named Karin Erlander as senior director for credit.

Erlander, who spent 18 years at S&P Global Ratings, joined the corporation this month.

Meanwhile, Susan Bailey has been appointed senior director of finance and Andrea Jelic, senior director for capital markets. Both are set to join in the new year.

Bailey is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience, including at Close Brothers Bank and the Institution of CIvil Engineers, while Jelic has more than 16 years of debt capital markets experience, including at HSBC, RBC and Nomura.

The Housing Finance Corporation has a loan book of nearly £8bn, supporting more than 145 housing associations.
