Developer appoints Andrew Dobson to lead identification and delivery of major strategic sites
Listed housing and industrial developer St Modwen has poached a senior Crest Nicholson executive to become senior director of its land and regeneration team.
Andrew Dobson comes to St Modwen after seven years at Crest, where he was managing director of the strategic projects division, overseeing a team of 30 responsible for identifying and delivering large-scale new residential communities.
St Modwen said Dobson (pictured left) will focus on identifying and promoting strategic sites to feed into its St Modwen Homes and St Modwen Logistics businesses. He will report to Guy Gusterson, managing director of strategic land & regeneration.
Dobson will also support the delivery of St Modwen’s existing “master developer” partnerships with landowners, including a recent deal with Severn Trent on its 154-acre Golden Valley development in Cheltenham.
St Modwen said its land and regeneration division had also made three internal promotions. Rob Williams is now managing director of major projects, Janine Parker becomes customer and community director and Dinny Shaw is planning director.
