Sheffield approves Yorkshire’s tallest tower and 1,200 homes

Construction to start this summer on development aimed at students and young people

Sheffield city council has approved a £100m development that will feature more than 1,000 homes and include the tallest tower in Yorkshire.

The plans from developer Code, and designed by Staniforth Architects, feature three buildings of 12, 17 and 38 storeys, located on a site between Rockingham Street, Wellington Street and Trafalgar Street in Sheffield.
