Sarah Henderson’s promotion follows new chief executive appointment
Salix Homes has appointed a new executive director to its leadership team.
The Salford-based housing association has announced the appointment of Sarah Henderson as executive director business services.
Henderson, who has worked at Salix for 18 years, most recently as director of people and inclusion, will be responsible for business transformation, operational performance and data and insight.
Her appointment forms part of a wider leadership transition at the 8,000-home association.
Liam Turner recently took over as chief executive, replacing the retiring Sue Sutton.
Last September, Martin Warhurst took over as chair of the association, succeeding Jim Battle who had reached the end of his term.
The provider is also recruiting a new executive director of customer and landlord services.
Salix Homes was among the first seven social landlords to be awarded the top ‘C1’ rating after the Regulator of Social Housing’s new consumer regime came into effect last April.
