Salford council approves 41-storey resi tower

Renaker’s 518-home block is part of the Greengate regeneration scheme to provide more than 1,500 homes

Skyscraper developer Renaker has gained planning permission for a 518-flat, 41-storey tower in Salford.

The block is part of a regeneration scheme for an area called Greengate, for which a hybrid masterplan was approved in March 2020 to build between 1,407 and 1,521 homes.
