Plan to turn south London gasworks site into 620-home neighbourhood approved
The Wandsworth regeneration scheme will include 40% affordable housing and repurpose the historic gasholder basin
Wandsworth Borough Council has granted planning permission for the delivery of 620 homes on the site of the old Wandsworth Gasworks.
The neighbourhood will comprise of four main plots including housing, of which 40% will be designated for affordable tenures, 4,250m2 of workspace and 9,000m2 of riverside parkland as well as hospitality facilities.
