The housebuilder has acquired the brownfield site from Homes England with full planning consent for 160 homes
Persimmon Homes Thames Valley will turn a Victorian pumphouse into new homes on a brownfield plot it recently acquired from Homes England.
The housebuilder is set to deliver 160 new homes on the site of former Mitie offices in Frimley, Surrey, including 15 units for discounted market sale.
The site has full planning consent and the offices will be demolished to make way for 157 properties, while the Victorian pumphouse will be converted into three homes.
Dan Castle, managing director of Persimmon Thames Valley, said: “We are delighted to have been able to work with Homes England to complete this acquisition and secure this key site.
“This will rejuvenate this brownfield site and bring it back into use, creating much-needed new homes for Frimley.
”The site benefits from full planning permission and that will allow us to move forward with our development imminently.”

The development will be named Cobbetts Place after Victorian cricketer James Cobbett, who was born in Frimley.
Demolition of the buildings has begun, with work on the new homes expected to start in 2026.
