Peabody deal funds development of homes at BBC TV Centre
Housing association will buy 142 west London homes to be built by Stanhope-led joint venture
Peabody has signed a deal to purchase 142 homes making up part of the flagship Stanhope redevelopment of the BBC Television Centre in White City.
The 142 homes, designed by Stirling Prize-winning architect Maccreanor Lavington, will be in two buildings on the site of a former car park for the iconic Wood Lane office block which served as home for the BBC in west London for 53 years until 2013.
