Housing association will build 654 homes as first phase of wider regen scheme

Housing association Network Homes has won planning permission for 654 homes at the Northwick Park scheme in Brent.

The housing association said it was now planning to start construction on the PRP-designed scheme in 2022, after construction of a new spine road in 2021. Around 40% of the homes – 245 – will be available for London Affordable Rent, with the rest available for sale.

The scheme is part of a wider regeneration s cheme being delivered in partnership between Network, the London North West Hospitals Trust, Brent Council and the University of Westminster.

The next phase will see 946 homes, new university facilities and public realm improvements around the Northwick Park tube station.

David Gooch, executive director of development at Network Homes, said the scheme will bring much needed affordable homes and jobs to the area.

“We look forward to continuing to work with our partners at Brent Council, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust and the University of Westminster to transform Northwick Park into a thriving neighbourhood,” he said.
