Mount Green Housing Association has appointed Heather Bowman as its new chair of the board.
Bowman was previously chief operating officer at Sovereign and is currently a board member at Stonewater, of which Mount Green became a subsidiary in 2024.
She succeeds Martin Large, who retired at the end of September. He led the common board of Greenoak Housing Association and Mount Green since its formation last year.
He also previously served as board chair at Greenoak, which became a subsidiary of the Stonewater Group in 2023.
Stonewater has also appointed Nicola Webber as chair of its risk and assurance committee following the departure of Andrew Lawrence.
Webber is a chartered accountant with a background in corporate finance, private equity and investment management and has held several non-executive director roles.
Stonewater has 40,000 homes across the UK.
It reports an annual turnover of £306m and fixed assets of £3.1bn.
