Andy Lomas will lead 13,000-home landlord while it seeks successor to Debi Marriott-Lavery
Magenta Living has appointed Andy Lomas as its interim chief executive.
Lomas, currently chief operating officer at the 13,000-home Merseyside landlord, will stand in as CEO until a permanent appointment is made.
He joined Magenta Living in April 2023, initially serving as an executive director overseeing the providers’ customer, community and brand & marketing activities, before being promoted to COO last June.
Lomas previously held senior positions at Places for People and Guinness and also worked at Plus Dane and Your Housing Group. Lomas will step up when current chief executive Debi Marriott-Lavery leaves in the summer to take up a role in Australia. She has been appointed chief executive of St George Community Housing, which manages around 7,000 homes in Sydney.
Under Magenta Living’s current plan it is aiming to build 1,000 homes by 2030, increase turnover to £100m (up from £77m), bring all of its homes to Energy Performance Certificate ‘c’ or better, create £30m in social value a year and increase its net surplus to 10%. It is also aiming for half of transactions to be digital under the same timeframe.
