The nine-acre scheme takes L&G Modular’s pipeline of schemes to 850 homes, with 450 houses under construction at schemes in Selby (pictured), Bristol and Broadstairs.

A further 400 homes are now in planning for the business on sites in North Horsham, Warminster, and this latest scheme in Littlestone. The scheme is L&G’s second with Town & Country, which is also involved with the Broadstairs development.

The project will include homes for shared ownership and for social rent, with a range of two-, three- and four-bed homes developed.

Rosie Toogood, CEO, Legal & General Modular Homes, said: “We are excited to start working with the planning authority to deliver a scheme that meets local requirements and that will showcase the part modular can play in helping the UK to Build Back Better.”
