Providers makes announcement ahead of results showing boost to turnover and surplus
Jigsaw Group will consolidate the four registered providers of social housing within its group to form a single unified organisation under one board, it has told investors.
The 38,000-home association made the announcement in a statement to market yesterday, ahead of the publication of an unaudited update for the six months ended 30 September 2025.

The four Jigsaw-linked providers currently registered with the Regulator of Social Housing are Jigsaw Homes Group Limited, Jigsaw Homes North (formerly Adactus Housing Association Limited), Jigsaw Homes Tameside (formerly New Charter Homes), and Jigsaw Homes Midlands (formerly Gedling Homes).
A spokesperson for the group told Housing Today that the board is still considering its options and could not confirm the exact final structure that would follow the consolidation process, which it aims to complete by 31 March 2027.
Jigsaw’s half-year trading update revealed that the housing association’s operating surplus had risen to £40.3m, compared with £34.2m in the same period the year prior.
Turnover stood at £121.8m, of which 92% was derived from social housing lettings. This compared to £117.2m in the comparator period. Interest cover also rose, from 156% to 175%.
The group said it was estimating that its forecast figures would be “slightly better than our original expectations by the 2025/26 year-end”.
Brian Moran, group chief executive said: “Jigsaw Group remains financially robust and strategically well-positioned.

“Our development pipeline, regulatory compliance framework, and asset management programmes support sustainable growth whilst delivering our social mission.”
In the six month period, Jigsaw delivered 254 new homes across affordable rent, social rent, rent to buy, and shared ownership tenures.
The group said it remained on track to hit its targeted 800 new home completions for 2025/2026 and by April 2026 expects to have delivered 4,000 new homes across its 2021-2026 development strategy.
As of 30 September this year, the group had 1,111 homes on site across 56 schemes.
